First Grant and New Product

In our second quarter the non-profit awarded our first SMAS Grant. The recipient has to travel to see a specialist and stays overnight. They might be having corrective surgery in the upcoming months. We hope that the grant alleviated some financial strain.

We also have a new product available in our store tab. Thanks to Nichole Everett and her husband they made a new car decal in white with a purple ribbon. We sell these items to help raise money for our Grant Fund so please consider purchasing some items.

A couple of years back my friend faced sudden medical travel costs for a specialist appointment out of state, plus an overnight stay before a procedure. The bills added up fast between gas, hotel, and time off work, creating extra stress on top of everything else. Her family pulled together what they could, but that first grant from an organization like this would have eased the load significantly. It made me realize how small financial supports can give real breathing room during health journeys.
