DIET MODIFICATION

Changing the types of foods you eat from solids to liquids or more easily digestible soft foods. Foods can also be blenderized to modify the texture to make digestion easier.

MEDICATIONS

Metoclopramide is a dopamine receptor antagonist and has been approved by the FDA to treat nausea and vomiting in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease or diabetic gastroparesis by increasing gastric motility.
